Alma Oasis was created in 2023, brought to life from the shared vision of two individuals captivated by the beauty and mystery of daily life but also by the climate problems and unmet solutions in our society. Our vision is to inspire the environmentally curious and encourage change in individual behaviors to have a positive impact on the earth, however large or small. ‘Alma’ means the soul, reflecting the essence of our being and ‘Oasis’ signifies a flourishing ecosystem in an otherwise arid world. Great course with a lot of valuable information
This course offers an excellent balance between practical knowledge and critical reflection on the deeper social and environmental issues tied to modern construction. I appreciate how each module not only presents natural building methods in a simple, understandable way but also connects them to larger questions of sustainability, resource use, and personal autonomy. I'm from the mountains of Idaho. So growing up in the woods among outdoorsmen, being a boy scout, and basic outdoors skills taught from being in the military I have a good base of knowledge that this course has been a fantastic refresher on. However, given all that, I have still learned quite a bit of new information from this course already and I'm only three modules in.
An excellent introductory course to permaculture, this is what i was looking for, thank you.

My experience with this course so far has been a positive one. It has been very informative and has inspired me to learn more.
This was a great, informative course. I learned a lot and it really inspired me to continue my learning and incorporate sylvotherapy into my future business. I do think, however, adding some visuals (photos, videos) could make this course even more appealing and more accessible.
Learning so much, my only concern is that there is very little information on plants in my region of Southern Africa (Eastern Cape, South Africa)
