🌱 Animal naturopath: the art of caring for animals naturally
Naturopathy is a philosophy. It is a holistic medicine, which means it is
concerned with the health and well-being of the animal as a whole. It
does not consider symptoms as a problem to be eliminated or
suppressed. Unlike conventional medicine, a naturopath uses symptoms
as a roadmap to determine the root cause of illness. He treats the animal,
not the disease, and more precisely seeks to support the animal and its
self-healing system by identifying the origin of the imbalance rather than
eliminating the symptoms.
The role of the animal naturopath is also to teach the owner how to
actively participate in his or her pet's health. The demand from pet
owners is strong, and the need is real. In today's industrialized and
polluted environment, pet owners are looking for natural alternatives
that are far more affordable than the high cost of veterinary treatment.
Because we realized that there were few resources and training courses
dedicated to holistic animal care, we have set up an innovative and
practical certification for anyone who wants to contribute to the health of
dogs, cats, rodents, birds or horses.
🐱 Healing the animal and educating the owner through the power of self-healing
Nature has endowed the animal with a body that is the result of centuries
of evolution. According to a global vision of health, the body has the
inherent capacity to heal itself. Every illness has a cause, manifesting
itself on a physical, mental or emotional level, and symptoms simply
express the body's reactions to heal itself.
In our animal naturopathy training course, you'll discover which foods
provide animals with what their bodies need for a healthy life. You'll
understand the importance of reconnecting the animal with a natural
environment, less polluted air, contact with the sun, pure water and
physical exercise. You'll be able to determine the animal's emotional
needs and meet them with appropriate techniques.
You'll learn how to treat and prevent illness using natural supplements,
essential oils, phytotherapy, homeopathy, massage, Bach flowers, EFT
and Reiki. You'll have a rich palette of different therapeutic tools at your
disposal to be as effective as possible.
Finally, you'll discover the most common pathologies and illnesses that
affect your pet's health. In each case, natural remedies will help restore
your pet's physical and emotional well-being and vitality.
👨⚕️️ What it means to be a naturopath for pets
If we take care of ourselves more often, we sometimes forget to take care
of our pets. Yet they need our undivided attention, and we need to listen
to their moods and troubles.
Generally speaking, naturopathy offers - to those who practice and
benefit from it - a holistic approach to health, with the basic principle
that the body is a whole, and that it has the inherent capacity to heal
itself.
As an animal naturopath, you will learn to :
Establish an assessment by observation and interview with the animal's owner;
Determine the animal's emotional needs;
Understand the environment in which it operates;
Adapt the animal's nutrition to its needs;
Treat or prevent the most common animal pathologies using natural supplements, herbs, essential oils...
Involving owners in the process of healing, maintaining and improving the health of their pets.
👩🎓 Who can benefit from certification in animal naturopathy?
It is open to all. You don't need a degree in veterinary medicine or animal
anatomy to benefit from this knowledge. This course is open to anyone
who wishes to master the practice of natural animal medicine. Above all,
it's a question of intention and dedication to the animal and its well-
being.
This certification is aimed at :
- Individuals wishing to learn how to better understand their
companion;
- Caregivers, companions and volunteers working for animal
protection associations;
- For those who, as animal lovers and enthusiasts, wish to set up a
professional business in a relatively new and certainly very
promising discipline;
- Veterinarians who wish to discover and apply a more natural and
less invasive approach to their practice;
- Naturopaths, aromatherapists, phytotherapists or holistic
practitioners already in practice (or in training) who want to
diversify their knowledge and offer new services to their
customers.
A special module is dedicated to those wishing to set up as animal
naturopaths, with invaluable advice on how to get organized, find a
clientele and make the most of every opportunity to succeed in this
adventure.
🚀 How does the training work?
Time is often an obstacle for many people wishing to train. We all have
obligations - family, work, associations - that don't always leave us free to
do what we want, when we want.
Need a month or a year to finish your training? No problem! You don't
have to worry about a final exam deadline. The course is available 24
hours a day, so you progress according to your availability. The most
important thing is that you succeed, and that you thrive in the learning
process.
Once you have registered on the training platform, you have access to all
the modules that make it up. Each module is available for download in
PDF and audio format, and includes a theoretical section, a series of
exercises, and videos illustrating massage and treatment techniques.
At the end of each module, you can take a knowledge test to check what
you've learned. You can actively participate in the learner discussion
forum, and interact with the trainers if you have any specific questions or
difficulties regarding the concepts defined and described in the program.
Once you have studied all 14 modules, you take the final exam, which, if
passed with 80% correct answers, entitles you to certification. If you fail,
you can retake the test at no extra cost.
