Treating Physical Pain with Hypnosis

This module is all about opening up your client’s beliefs about pain while building up their expectations of positive results.

In this module, you will learn:

• Steps to closing the pain control session so the changes stick
• How to gather specific information that enables you to customize each session to your client’s individual needs
• Essential safety protocols that protect both you and the client from harm
• How to gauge the client’s progress at every step
• How to quickly build rapport with your client and develop a strong relationship of mutual trust, understanding, and respect
• Instructions for giving your client an at-home, practice exercise, through which they can facilitate their own healing
• How to deliver a successful pain control pre-talk; a dialog about hypnosis and pain, which prepares your client’s mind for doing the work (script included)
• How past trauma can affect your client’s experience of pain in the present moment

In this section, we cover advanced techniques for reducing and eliminating pain with hypnosis. It contains everything you need to start using pain control hypnosis today.

• A system for relieving the physical symptoms of fibromyalgia, one of the least understood yet fastest growing illnesses in existence today

Module 5 is about dissolving highly charged emotions that your client may begin to express during a pain control session.

In this module you’ll learn:

• How to transform pain by giving the mind a means of serving its purpose in a more comfortable way
• How to gracefully handle client abreactions or spontaneous outbursts that are grounded in repressed psychological and emotional trauma
• A process for releasing highly charged emotions bit by bit through the client’s dreams
• How to maintain an attitude that comforts the client and gives them confidence in your abilities

In this section, we’ll give you some additional tools to support your client’s progress after the session. We’ve included a follow-up script that will enable you to detect and resolve secondary causes of pain. We’re also covering the process of creating a giving your client a take-home tool to increase their chances of continued success after the session. You’ll also discover a simple technique for helping clients release stored up negative emotions that may be keeping their pain in place.

• How to create a take-home audio CD to give to your client, which will strengthen and reinforce your suggestions after the session. (Script included.)
