DMT Integration Coaching Certification

Learners begin by exploring what DMT is, how it appears in traditional and contemporary contexts, and why integration is essential after powerful psychedelic experiences. This module introduces key concepts such as psychedelic integration, DMT phenomenology, intention, meaning-making, and non-clinical support. Learners also clarify the difference between DMT integration coaching, psychotherapy, medical care, and other helping roles so they can begin the program with a clear sense of scope and responsibility.

This module focuses on the ethical foundation of DMT integration work. Learners examine psychological, medical, relational, and substance-use risk factors, along with red flags that require referral or collaborative care. They will practice harm reduction principles, confidentiality language, documentation habits, legal awareness, and a clear non-facilitation stance that avoids sourcing, dosing, administration, or ceremony guidance.

Learners develop the practical coaching skills needed to guide integration sessions from first contact through closure. The module covers session structure, pacing, reflective listening, client-led inquiry, non-pathologizing language, question design, and continuity between sessions. Learners practice moving clients from experience description toward insight, integration themes, values clarification, and grounded action steps.

This module teaches learners how to support psychological preparation while staying within legal and ethical limits. Learners explore readiness, emotional resources, expectations, media myths, intention-setting, grounding tools, and support planning. The emphasis is on helping clients clarify motivations and fears without offering medical advice, legal advice, dosing guidance, or facilitation support.

Learners study three core meaning-making approaches for post-experience integration. Narrative tools help clients organize fragments, symbols, sensations, and memories into a coherent story without forcing certainty. CBT-informed and emotion-focused methods help clients examine beliefs, thought patterns, emotional layers, behavioral urges, and small experiments that translate insight into everyday cognitive and emotional change.

This module expands beyond verbal processing into embodied and expressive integration methods. Learners practice simple somatic awareness, grounding routines, creative exercises, group integration structures, and digital support plans. The focus remains non-clinical and choice-based, helping coaches adapt tools to different client needs without interpreting art, pushing body-based practices, or overwhelming the integration process.

Learners explore how trauma, identity, culture, systemic oppression, neurodiversity, spirituality, and history can shape both DMT experiences and integration needs. This module introduces trauma-informed principles, cultural humility, structural mapping, accessibility, spiritual neutrality, and referral thresholds. Special attention is given to Indigenous DMT-related traditions and the importance of respecting lineages without claiming authority over practices one does not belong to.

This module helps learners work skillfully with phenomena commonly associated with DMT, including entity encounters, downloads, ego dissolution, hyperspace imagery, time distortion, mystical states, and existential or spiritual crises. Learners practice ontologically neutral language, relational exploration, grounding, and discernment around urgent life-change impulses. They also learn how to recognize when complex material remains within coaching scope and when referral is needed.

Learners develop the ability to interpret psychedelic research at a high level and communicate findings responsibly. This module emphasizes evidence literacy, limitations of current research, ethical communication, and avoiding exaggerated claims. Learners also explore collaboration with therapists, physicians, psychiatrists, researchers, and other professionals so clients receive appropriate support beyond coaching when needed.

The final module brings the entire training together through applied practice, case formulation, ethical service design, and real-world implementation. Learners design DMT integration coaching offerings, practice session planning, refine documentation and boundaries, and synthesize their approach into a sustainable professional model. The module closes by helping learners integrate the course’s tools, ethics, cultural standards, and scope boundaries into coherent coaching work.
