Alma Oasis was created in 2023, brought to life from the shared vision of two individuals captivated by the beauty and mystery of daily life but also by the climate problems and unmet solutions in our society. I am concerned with participants unfamiliar with plants, foraging for culinary Sylvotherapy. Providing them with the detailed information needed to do this safely seems that it would interrupt the peaceful therapeutic aspects of the experience.
I just completed the course and despite years of forest bathing, I now have a knowledge and understanding of the science behind the health benefits. I feel more confident in leading individuals or groups in a sylvotherapy session for healing. I am excited to add this certification to my toolbox to not only help me personally, but help others to use nature to heal.

Choosing a Forest Therapy course that matched my gifts and passions was very important to me so I followed my hearts guidance and chose Alma Oasis. This course reaches beyond what I was expecting, from educating us on the different species of plants, trees and flowers and their essences, but also energy, and the deeper meanings of what nature offers I am beyond excited to start my journey in offering this form of therapy to others!
