Get out what you put in

It's my feeling that anyone could skip through much of the course work and still achieve the same result. There is a great deal of information, research and reference materials, all of which are easy to access, easy to save and useful. However, I find the format of try, try, try again with multiple choice answers for assessment, means it is up to you to decide how thoroughly you want to learn your subject. I am a qualified forest school leader and beach school leader already, so for me, it was very important to immerse myself in further knowledge, so that I can confidently offer this as a service, but for some, it would be an easy way to gain a qualification, without actually learning the material.

Highly recommended for anyone who spends time in nature

I am an experienced hiker and backpacker who spends a lot of time in nature and the wilderness. While I knew a lot of this information already the review and reminders of basic survival are so valuable. This is a great beginner or refresher course for anyone.

Great Start!

I find this course so interesting. I only wish they had videos to see some of this in action, as well as easily printable charts for future reference. The information provided is limited, but it's an excellent start for the price. Start here if you're interested in something, before you spend thousands on certifications. You can always add to this.

Basic but thorough

This course is a good overview, though could benefit from more resources.

Enlightening information

I am finding the information very enlightening and while discovering a lot of new information, I also find that it synthesizes with past knowledge and experience. I would like to see more of a bibliography and any further studies or evidence that are being used to support assertions. That being said, I realize spiritual phenomena is still difficult to "prove" with scientific data, yet doesn't make it any less true.
