Counseling the elderly and single parents

It is awesome to study practical ways to help the elderly in our community overcome some life issues that come through old age and loss of loved ones and physical issues. The elderly through Christian counseling can be helped using Christian principles to find meaning, purpose, and hope in their later years. The single parents can be helped to participate in service projects within the church and community and implement practical strategies that can align with biblical principles. My church has elderly people that will benefit from this knowledge

Great little course

I have enjoyed taking a module per evening. Its been very informative and has given me a few tools to put in my counseling tool belt

Different types of traumas

Detailed understanding of the traumas and relevant support bases. there was reputations of some of the answers.

Empowered to know the importance of the 2 qualities as a potential counselor

It gave a perspective of self care while you are supporting others.

Christian Counseling

The course never diverted from Christian values and/or biblical references. I feel the course would be excellent for those who want to begin a career as a Christian Counselor.

Knowing your calling

It has been very enlightening. Guiding the student as to the foundation and guidance of a Christian counselor in areas that will help other persons.

Decent

At least one answer in two of the tests had the wrong answer listed as the correct answer. I left the correct answer for Module 3 test, as well as on the past test.

Communication in Christian marriage

I received more insight on why communication fosters intimacy in marriage. The need to align actions with words and communicate with grace, truth and love enriched my knowledge in Christian marriage It so beautiful to see how scriptures were used to encourage spouses to walk in light and truth. I am loving every bit of this course. Thanks a million to the ones that put it all together!
