Christian counseling and psychological principles

As a school counselor, I am extremely excited to see that Christian counseling offers a faith based approach to mental, integrating spiritual guidance with psychological principles. The course is well structured and simple enough for achieving the goals for each module. This is the best way for individuals to rediscover purpose and meaning in life through their faith, particularly when facing difficult situations.

It would be nice...

It would be nice if we could print the entire PDF off at one time instead of in lessons. It makes it daunting.

Family counseling

When I was listening about family and youth, my mind went back to my past. My father and mother are both deaf and mute. I have one younger brother and one younger sister. When I was about 13 years old, my parents separated, but they never got divorced. When I was just 6 months old, my grandmother (my father’s mother) adopted me and took me to Nuwara Eliya. From a young age, I always longed for my mother’s love. Even now, at the age of 48, she still doesn’t show love to me. I have three children, and I love them very much. My husband often tells me that I always used to say, “I don’t have anyone,” but God gave me a very blessed family. I understand deeply how important a family is in God's eyes. My testimony is a long one, because I have suffered a lot in my life. That is why I am so interested in learning about psychology. I want to help others who are going through struggles like I did—and lead them to God.
