Boring and terrible learning strategies

Each module consists of either a PDF to read or an audio file of the PDF read aloud. It's all text--paragraphs and bullet points--with a few photo illustrations thrown in. There are usually two case studies, which I find helpful, but overall this course was clearly produced by someone with no knowledge of learning strategies. You basically have to write everything down because you'll be expected to repeat it back in the 10-question quiz at the end of each module. I'm hating this but doing it because I paid for it.

Helpful and Useful

The Functional Genomics & Nutrition Coach course was very helpful and useful. I loved how they addressed ethical concerns and staying in your scope of practice. The course also did a good job teaching you how to appropriately coach clients without overwhelming them, scaring them, and providing them with actionable nutrition and lifestyle changes taking into account their health concerns and goals. It was a bit dry and it reads like AI wrote it, but it is still a very good resource. I would definitely consider taking other courses from them.
