Biblical foundation
The lessons have been built around Biblical Truths. Secular counseling has accumulated information with its own terminology and methods. When secular methods align with Biblical Truths, those practices can add counseling skills, equipping the counselor with a variety of thought patterns to draw from when supporting an individual through their life challenges. The number one priority of a Christian Counselor is to depend on the Holy Spirit to accurately apply Biblical guidance to the therapy session.

Christian Counseling Certification
The course has been comprehensive, so far. I was apprehensive mainly due to the low cost of the program. I didn't know what to expect! But, I've been pleasantly surprised. I have a masters in Psychology and a couple decades of experience in counseling. I am not licensed in Texas though I am a licensed pastor, so I was looking for a means to become credentialed in Christian Counseling. I chose this course mainly because it was affordable, even if it had not been discounted. As the man said after falling off of the skyscraper on his way down..."So far so good!"

Biblical vs practical
The material gives some great passages of scripture and concepts. However, there is a lack of practicality to the material. I'm over halfway through with no mention of the S&P 500 or QQQ.

Christian Counseling
Thus far I have enjoyed learning all the different aspects of counseling, Learning how both Christian principles and psychology can work together for clients to bring help and change in their lives. Also, understanding how as the counselor there are things I must continue to do to grow myself. Journaling and having a mentor are important for my reflection and growth.

Prophesy Counselling
This is by far the toughest course in your offerings. I love it! It's challenging, and requires a transformation within me to effectively activate the gift. Without that activation, there is no power of intercession for the client. Question: Module 2 in Prophesy course on page 19, beginning of the third paragraph reads: "Lack of accountability protects us from the sin of pride." What exactly does that mean? Craig Yates
