Not the best

This feels like a one-size-fits-all course, but I'm not really sure it works to have scripts in a course like this, it should be giving methods and ideas. I think that repeating everything the client says word for word, which it advises at certain points, will just annoy the client. If someone didn't have any further training and experience of how to work with people and basic counselling skills, I don't necessarily think this course would work for them. There are also mistakes in the written course material.

Odd mix of holistic attempt and tactical

Most of this is very tactical, and very coach-led (I prefer a co-created approach). Occasionally the language will refer to the soul, the inner being, but again with very tactical cognitive language that I find jarring. The scripts are also universally convenient in their outcome - there's no mention of what the coach should do when their experience doesn't follow the script. Having trained in coaching I'm find this interesting for ideas on how to run a coaching business, but I'm glad I'm not reliant on the coaching elements of it to be successful.
