I’m learning so much

I’m absolutely loving this course as it’s making me more aware of things in nature I took for granted or never even thought about.

Good experience

I am a mental health clinician who wanted to really dig into ways that nature influences therapeutic interventions. This class was really helpful for me to learn good ways to articulate this. I will use what I learned going forward and hope to offer sylvotherapy in the future. It was much more robust than I anticipated and love how well put together the class was.

Not what I was expecting.

Lots a good information for plant references, but not what I was expecting. I expected more information/guidance on setting up and delivering a forest therapy session.

So far so good!

Only up to Module 3 but so far I'm learning a lot and really enjoying the content of the course.

Get out what you put in

It's my feeling that anyone could skip through much of the course work and still achieve the same result. There is a great deal of information, research and reference materials, all of which are easy to access, easy to save and useful. However, I find the format of try, try, try again with multiple choice answers for assessment, means it is up to you to decide how thoroughly you want to learn your subject. I am a qualified forest school leader and beach school leader already, so for me, it was very important to immerse myself in further knowledge, so that I can confidently offer this as a service, but for some, it would be an easy way to gain a qualification, without actually learning the material.
