Very well laid out and enjoyable format
This grief coaching class has been far more than a professional training—it has been a deeply transformative journey of learning, reflection, healing, and personal growth. From the very beginning, the course challenged me to look beyond the surface of grief and understand the profound ways loss can affect the **body, mind, emotions, relationships, identity, spirituality, and sense of meaning**. I have gained a much deeper appreciation for the uniqueness of every grieving person's journey and the importance of meeting each person with compassion, patience, presence, and without judgment. What has impacted me most is the emphasis on the practitioner—not simply learning techniques, but becoming more self-aware, grounded, authentic, and emotionally present. Concepts such as the **grief genogram, shadow work, practitioner presence, engaged neutrality, the wounded healer, the window of tolerance, and compassion fatigue** have challenged me to examine my own experiences and understand how they can influence the way I serve others. This training has also strengthened my understanding of professional and ethical boundaries. I now appreciate that being a grief coach is not about having all the answers or trying to take away someone's pain. This course has opened my eyes to many things in a grieving process. The methods of grieving are different for everyone. I learned so much for myself in this course. Few things that I was doing for years for my own loss, as a name of it too, which I had no idea. With this better insight, better knowledge and better understanding, I would be able to support many grieving people to move on with life while still holding very close of their loss love ones.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **An Incredible and Transformative Experience! ** I recently completed the Grief Coach Certification through Efficient Coach, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this course! As a mother who has experienced the loss of a child, grief is something I know personally and deeply. My own journey has led me to create a grief support community, write a book about grief and faith, and find ways to help others who are walking through some of the most difficult days of their lives. I enrolled in this course because I wanted to take that calling a step further. I wanted to gain a deeper understanding of grief, learn how to better support others, and eventually begin my own grief coaching practice. This course has been absolutely transformative! The amount of information, knowledge, and practical guidance provided throughout the program was incredible. It helped me understand grief from so many different perspectives and introduced me to approaches and techniques that I can use to support others in a meaningful and compassionate way. One of the things I appreciated most was that this course reminded me that grief is not something we fix. It is something we learn to navigate, and as grief coaches, our role is not to take away someone's pain but to walk alongside them, listen without judgment, and help them find their own way forward. Although it took me some time to complete the program, I am so thankful I took this journey. I wanted to truly absorb the information, reflect on what I was learning, and understand how I could apply it in my future practice. I came into this course with a heart for helping others. I am leaving with that same heart, but now with so much more knowledge, understanding, and confidence in how I can support those who are grieving. **This was so much more than earning a certification. I thoroughly enjoyed the Ikigai Life Coach Certification course! The material does a fantastic job of highlighting authentic Japanese philosophical and cultural principles rather than just superficial concepts. It provided actionable tools like the passion compass and flow state identification that I can immediately use with future clients. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a deep, authentic approach to coaching!

it was really great i learnt a lot of new things
Initial lesson seemed daunting as I was unable to retain all the information, it took me a couple of attempts to complete, but rest of the course was easier. I liked th audio and the text as it helped me learn better.
