This was a very well structured course covering many different areas surrounding dementia and I found it to be an excellent course whether you are practising and working with people with dementia or for your own personal upgrading knowledge!

The course had very thorough materials and explained some of the deeper aspects of horse intuitiveness that are not immediately apparent. All considerations for a safe and helpful experience were taken into account.

Hi, my name is Christine Shaw, and I recently completed the Play Therapy Certification course. I found the course to be both highly informative and challenging, requiring thoughtful reflection and a commitment to learning. Although some aspects of the course pushed me outside my comfort zone, the experience was incredibly rewarding. The course opened up a whole new world of understanding about how children communicate, learn, and process their emotions through play. It gave me valuable insight into the importance of creating safe, supportive environments where children can express themselves and develop essential emotional and social skills. As an educator working with children who have additional support needs, I found the content particularly relevant and beneficial. The knowledge and strategies I gained have enhanced my understanding of child development and have provided me with practical tools that I can apply in my professional practice. I would highly recommend this course to educators, support staff, and anyone working with children. It offers a deeper appreciation of the power of play and its role in supporting children's well-being, learning, and development.

Positive Experience

My experience in taking this course was very unique. It is the first time I take a course like this on line. As a hospital chaplain and working in my church and community I meet many person who are caregivers of dementia patients. Listening to their experience and concerns have caused an interest in me to know how to help and assist caregivers. This class has helped me better understand what dementia is and how to help and be present to the caregiver. I know I can now better understand and offer simple suggestions on selfcare and support for both the patient and the caregiver. Thank you very much.

Equine Therapy Practitioner

This was an excellent course. It provided a clearer way to envision working with clients and horses that resonates with my personality. I was pleased that there was no pressure to have to have a required spirituality which honored "other's experiences" which was part of the course!!!! Thank you for that. As a retired mental health therapist who worked with a great many trauma survivors, I would add a requirement for any clients that I have and that is they would need to be seeing some type of mental health therapist so that clients are not left alone with any triggers or trauma memories from the equine sessions, even after emotional regulation is present at the end of any sessions due to delayed response. A great course. I enjoyed it a lot.

Great course

This course was really great! It took a long time with lots of little assignments, quizzes and planning but it was so worth it. It's a real course and I feel very excited about completing it after all the hard work I put in. Great course, highly recommend.
