Equine Therapy Practitioner
I’ve truly loved every moment of the Equine Therapy Practitioner course! Growing up around horses, I’ve always known how special and healing the bond between horses and humans can be, but this course has really deepened my understanding of why that connection is so impactful.
One of my favourite parts was diving into topics like horse behaviour, emotional regulation, somatic awareness, trauma-informed practices, and client safety. I also appreciated the emphasis on viewing the horse as a sentient partner, rather than just a tool for activities.
This course has really pushed me to reflect on the kind of practitioner I aspire to be and how I can weave my own personality, values, and life experiences into my future work.
The modules were not only informative but also thought-provoking and practical. I’m wrapping up the course feeling inspired and excited to take the next steps in my equine therapy journey.

I am a practicing Jungian therapist for 45 years. In 1988 I had the choice of attending a Jungian Institute or having children with my wife. I chose the latter.
Nevertheless I attended extensive training and supervision including the summer institute at the New York Jungian Institute and many others, underwent 9 years of Jungian Analysis with Jerome Bernstein in Washington D.C. and was on the faculty of the Journey Into Wholeness Annual Conference. My wife, who is also a poet, photographer and Jungian therapist, and I founded and directed the C. G. Jung Center of Winchester Virginia from 1988 until 2020.
I will return again and again to this course as a most helpful resource and reminder of the many virtuous qualities and gifts of Jungian Therapy and education.
My favorite quote? "Thank God I'm Jung and not a Jungian."
