About the subject
What are creative and expressive therapies?
Some things are hard to say and easier to draw, write or play out. Creative and expressive practices give clients another channel — one that often reaches feelings and memories that conversation alone doesn't.
These certifications train you to use creative processes purposefully: structuring sessions, choosing methods, and holding space for what emerges — whether you're adding tools to an existing practice or building a creative one from scratch.

01 Do I need to be a good artist?
No — and neither do your clients. The work is about process and expression, not artistic quality. Facilitation skill matters far more than technique.
02 Which course should I start with?
The Therapeutic Arts Certification is the broad foundation. If you already know your medium — visual art, writing or play — you can start with that specialisation directly.
03 Is this the same as licensed art therapy?
No — these are practitioner and coaching certifications, not clinical art-therapist licensure. You'll learn supportive creative methods and when to refer clients to licensed care.
04 Are the certifications accredited?
