Impact of Sylvotherapy on a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist

As a CTRS with 30 years of experience working in juvenile/adult corrections and adult forensics, I found this course to be refreshing and incredibly beneficial not just for clientele, but for myself. I have always struggled with practicing mindfulness and just "being in the moment" - except when in nature. This course not only helped explain why there was such a difference for me, but will hopefully impress upon the men that I work with that there are other, healthy options in which they can work through difficult situations than those chosen in the past. Thank you!

Exceeded my expectations

I wasn't sure what to expect out of this course, I was hopeful but skeptical going into it. But the information, the structure, the length of the course, the layout, the graphics, all far exceeded my expectations! Looking forward to gaining even more knowledge with another Alma Oasis course!
