Back to the Roots – My Sylvotherapy Experience 🌿
Enrolling in the Sylvotherapy course felt less like starting a class and more like answering a quiet call from the forest. I appreciate how the course is honoring both ancient traditions and modern research, making the practice feel both grounded and expansive. I feel as though I’ve returned to my childhood, when I used to discover nature’s hidden gems in the Slovenian forests. That’s exactly why I chose to study sylvotherapy—it brings me back to my roots. What truly stood out was how the course changed my relationship with nature. I no longer just walk through the woods—I listen, I feel, I connect. Trees have become mentors, mirrors, and medicine.

Amazing and Informational Course
This course not only helped me to better understand forest bathing and the incredible properties of various trees and plants, but it also helped me to understand things that I was already experiencing in my own mindful practices. After this course, I can honestly say I have a higher understanding of the sensory value of nature and all the healing benefits that are possible just by being out and connecting with mother earth. I am excited to build a practice for myself and others.

Wilderness Survival Instructors Course
IT was a great experience and it helps me a lot to validate and recall my past knowledge pertaining to the subject. It is good to complete this and become a certified instructor since currently I am handling basic survival skills. Excellent!

over all experience:
well detailed. was pleased to see the connections made to the indigenous people and explaining thy survived thousands of years in that specific environment. learned a few new terms like channeling with snares. I just few it as guiding them to the snare. As someone who lived in the north I knew that our local food had the necessary nutrients. Never really thought about the dessert people who also lived in that environment. a few issues as I mentioned earlier about the first aid. Question 7. on the final test talks about the fire board and spinal. finding the correct material was wrong my issue is if you don't pick the correct material the likelihood of success is almost zero. Question 27. You claim washing the wound nd is required to stop the bleed. you clean the wound after the bleeding has stopped 20 minutes or so. Prior direct pressure is the number one recognized method for bleeding control. Elevation helps with controlling the bleed. first aid is the weakest part of the course. everything else was well done. being able to change answers allowed me the user to correct my mistake with the correct information.
