Alma Oasis was created in 2023, brought to life from the shared vision of two individuals captivated by the beauty and mystery of daily life but also by the climate problems and unmet solutions in our society. Our vision is to inspire the environmentally curious and encourage change in individual behaviors to have a positive impact on the earth, however large or small. ‘Alma’ means the soul, reflecting the essence of our being and ‘Oasis’ signifies a flourishing ecosystem in an otherwise arid world. Together, Alma Oasis represents the harmonious coexistence of the human spirit and nature, a place where individuals learn to thrive on a constantly evolving planet.
The course enhanced my naturally spiritual connection with nature and expanded my scientific knowledge, expanding my value and understanding.
I enjoyed this class. It has so much to offer. There was a complete break down of over 50 plants which included their descriptions, history, and highlights in how to use. I was introduced to new principles like Bach Remedies. And I loved learning the historical development of herbalism itself.

This program beautifully bridges evidence-based science with the natural intelligence of the ocean. As a Registered Nurse and practitioner who integrates both clinical understanding and holistic care, I deeply appreciated the research behind how water, rhythm, and environment support the nervous system and emotional well-being. It gave language and structure to what I’ve intuitively experienced in my work, while strengthening my ability to guide others in a way that is both grounded and impactful. The integration of neuroscience, creative expression, and ecological awareness makes this approach not only effective, but deeply meaningful. Grateful for a program that honors both science and our interconnected relationship with nature.

This course was very helpful for learning about Permaculture and its philosophy. For now, it was impossible for me to dedicate time for a hands-on PDC course and this online alternative has proven to be very adequate.
It was really wonderful and fun learning about different cultural, sociological, biochemical, practical therapeutic techniques, and so much more. I was really impressed with the quality of the course, how much information and research has gone into this course. It truly has opened my eyes and reminded me of the beautiful healing qualities of the ocean, whether living close to the sea or city-bound away from the ocean. Thank you, I'm looking forward to taking other courses to build on my knowledge for myself, family, friends, and patients/clients.

EASY AND EFFECTIVE
I thought it was very interesting, I loved learning about all this since I'm planning on moving to the country and living in a more sustainable way, however even is you live in the city it has value to offer. It creates conscience of our way of living in the cities and what's coming in the future if we continue in the same path. I truly believe some of these topics should be taught in school. The house was easy to understand and practical I will continue looking in to this courses.
This course was something I had been thinking about for some time, so glad I finally dove in!
I had so much fun finding creative solutions for land stewardship in this program.
