Alma Oasis was created in 2023, brought to life from the shared vision of two individuals captivated by the beauty and mystery of daily life but also by the climate problems and unmet solutions in our society. Our vision is to inspire the environmentally curious and encourage change in individual behaviors to have a positive impact on the earth, however large or small.
‘Alma’ means the soul, reflecting the essence of our being and ‘Oasis’ signifies a flourishing ecosystem in an otherwise arid world. Together, Alma Oasis represents the harmonious coexistence of the human spirit and nature, a place where individuals learn to thrive on a constantly evolving planet.
Have very much enjoyed the course so far. Some of the modules for me were review of what I already knew while others provided brand new information I was unaware of. I like the way the course brings several ways to approach ocean therapy from working with people in land locked environments, to being at the shore, to actually being immersed in the ocean itself. Great course!
Understanding the science behind Sylvotherapy has been extremely interesting. The course is engaging, evidence based and I can't wait to put the research into practice.
Good content with a few errors in recorded portions
I’m enjoying the content of this course.I have noticed a view errors in the narration of the material but as long as the written text is available it’s not a problem. There are also references to YouTube videos without links to the videos being provided. One example is the mention of a video about how to make an A Frame.
I learned so much by taking this course. It provided me with a wealth of information about forest therapy and how to apply it to enhance the experience of my clients in their pursuit for health and well-being.
I have so many good things to say about this course thus far. It is packed with straight forward information sourced from studies. There is no nonsense or fluff present.
I love that I was able to listen to the audio at a speed that was right for me while I read along. I used the notes to help me reinforce concepts that were a bit more complex. The exercises made it possible for me to connect to each concept. The quizzes were relevant to each module. Overall, it was an awesome experience.
Really enjoyed learning about different regions. I have learned about some plants and vegetation and the properties they hold which I did not know before.
I work in the outdoor environment and much of what I have learnt before this was personal practical and research. It is nice to know I'm on the right track.
Many thanks.
It's informational. Some of the questions on the quizzes have errors. quiz 7 i think had same answer for two types of gaits. but overall course is ok. basic but good to know.
