Alma Oasis was created in 2023, brought to life from the shared vision of two individuals captivated by the beauty and mystery of daily life but also by the climate problems and unmet solutions in our society. Our vision is to inspire the environmentally curious and encourage change in individual behaviors to have a positive impact on the earth, however large or small.
‘Alma’ means the soul, reflecting the essence of our being and ‘Oasis’ signifies a flourishing ecosystem in an otherwise arid world. Together, Alma Oasis represents the harmonious coexistence of the human spirit and nature, a place where individuals learn to thrive on a constantly evolving planet.
The course was set up in a very comprehensive manner. The important points were well covered. Very thorough course on the importance of phytoncides and the benefits they give to us and the planet. Im looking forward to continuing my education with this company.
I recently competed the Geobiology course and have to admit, I had to look up some terminology. The course was fascinating and I thought I would pace myself more but it was so exciting to learn, I finished in just a few days. The course is outlined in a student friendly manner. Exercises and quizzes were effective in reinforcing key components. I was very impressed and look forward to experiencing more learning opportunities.
One of my most favorite units that I taught in my junior English classes was Transcendentalism. I love Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau, even so much that in preparation for teaching the unit, I rented a cabin in the woods for a week in the summer while I created my classroom lessons. Now that I am retired, this course has brought me back in touch with Nature and has provided more in-depth information about the science of sylvotherapy.
This sylvotherapy course has been a truly transformative experience. It beautifully combines science, spirituality, and practical tools, giving me the knowledge and confidence to connect deeply with nature and share its benefits with others. Well-structured, inspiring, and full of actionable insights – I now feel ready to turn my passion for nature into a meaningful career.
The study material do not elaborates the topics bur covers all he aspects of wilderness survival. The socio-economic aspect is also covered emphasising the disconnection of current society and generation from nature.
Thoroughly enjoying this course, so informative, so relevant just hoping to integrate to my Green School Program just need to translate it all into Spanish. Having a first time ever issue getting into my coursework but am navegating through it.
