I find this course incredibly interesting. It gives a very nice overview of different aspects of the topic. The only part that could be good for the review, is some of the questions asked or the way they are asked, is not that clear in the reading material and/or videos. Overall I can recommend this for anyone interested in the topic. Many thanks.
Despite a rocky start, with technical difficulties, my experience has been largely positive. Much of the information and language used is in depth (which I understand is necessary). I think simplification of examples and language in the lessons would suit my learning style. Maybe more short videos to summarise some of the key points.
I like that the reading voices switch up in each section, keeping my attention.
Though I wish the quizzes were multiple choice and more questions per module (of multiple choice)
Trying to guess what the right written answer for each question is, I find discouraging and is not the best way for me to personally learn.
The content is relatively good and well-structured for a new coach to follow. However, in many modules, research studies' results have been mentioned without referencing the research or naming the researchers or the university. In addition, it was mentioned that there will be live sessions with experts but none have occurred so far. Also, the content can be more engaging (videos, interactive activities, etc.)
Dyslexia Coach Certification
The training was interesting, rich in content and educational.
Unfortunately, I had to use a translation program so that I could get it written in my language as that is what I prefer.
I don't know if you had arranged for me to have the modules and questions read out in my native language (Norwegian), and I didn't find out. This complicated the whole thing, but I was very happy with the result.
What is extra interesting for me is that I myself have dyslexia.
