Enjoyed the course! The things that concern me are that someone might take this online course and think they are certified for massage or reiki and this course should not certify someone for those so perhaps state that or move those courses to the end with the other specialties mentioned in module 14. Also, material in this course should not state that animals cannot communicate. They can and they do. Are you not familiar with Animal Communication? Those taking this course are open minded to naturopathy and alternative medicine and likely are aware of animal communication.
Trauma-informed, ethical, and deeply aligned with the horse–human relationship
This course offered a thoughtful, trauma-informed approach to equine therapy that truly honors the horse as a sentient partner rather than a tool. The material is well-structured, grounded in nervous system awareness, consent, pacing, and relational integrity, and it consistently emphasizes ethical facilitation and emotional safety for both client and horse.
I especially appreciated the focus on experiential learning, non-interpretive reflection, and co-regulation, which aligns beautifully with holistic and somatic practices. The content feels relevant, respectful, and applicable in real therapeutic settings. I highly recommend this course to practitioners seeking depth, clarity, and a compassionate framework for equine-facilitated work
The course is very informative but yet intuitive. Highly recommend sitting a while with each chapter. The chapter quizes are a bit tough because the answer requires you to discern what the question is really asking in order to give the correct answer.
