A new and precious asset in my life

My background is in forestry, so throughout my career I have been aware of the mental and physical health benefits of forests on a theoretical level. However, I must admit that I have somehow overlooked its practical use so far. When I came across AlmaOasis' online Sylvatherapy course, I did not hesitate to enroll because it was a golden opportunity to enrich my professional profile with a subject that also speaks to my soul. The content, in which I've found the answers to all the questions in my mind was completely satisfactory. The process was so smooth and has been completed within a few weeks. Now it's time to go out and apply what I've learned. Thank you Alma Oasis for opening a new horizon in my life!

Forest Bathing is interesting

I found the Sylvotherapy course very interesting. I have a higher understanding of the forest. Now I know why I feel better after being in the forest and how it can help others.

Overall, I was very impressed with the depth of knowledge shared within this program and direction in applying this knowledge towards clients. I believe having a working understanding of nature and how it can impact humans directly is needed in the helping professions. Our environment can play a role in our mood and health, knowing how to better support health holistically can create positive change for the individual.

More in depth than I thought.

I'm enjoying the course. The navigation portion has been the hardest because I've not used that technique and can't apply it for training just yet. But this course has been enjoyable so far and I'm learning a good bit. The poetic nature of the writing is entertaining.
