Great Opportunity

This course was very helpful for learning about Permaculture and its philosophy. For now, it was impossible for me to dedicate time for a hands-on PDC course and this online alternative has proven to be very adequate.

A lot of information

Overall the course was OK. It is a lot of reading and it is clearly AI generated so some of it is missing a human touch. Some of the techniques are frequently repeated and some of the ideas are a bit outdated, such as using zones of regulation which is not always brilliant for neurodivergent people. I thought some of the questions for the end of module test were strangely worded and didn't really give you clear understanding of what they were asking. I am glad I did it and it would be good if you are new to the field. or to give yourself a starter into coaching for neurodivergent people.

I really did not like this compared to the course I took. The "methods" to this "system" actually go against the ethics of being a practitioner. We are not supposed to re-traumatize our clients yet one of the steps to this "fail proof" system is to "increase the awareness of pain". I understand the nuances between the two but it's the same to me because the outcome is the same - the client has not been helped, they do not feel better. If someone is looking into the services I provide it already means they are "ready" and healing is a personal journey that goes at different paces for everyone. Sometimes people need to pause. Sometimes people think they're ready but they aren't. The practitioner course I took stressed ethics and integrity and then they throw in this "bonus" super system that lacks not only both of those but also a good editor. It is so poorly written yet the pages oozed of an ego only a mother and the human possessing it could nurture to such grandiosity. The cherry on top was being offered the option to have the certificate of completion mailed to me for $35. It has no value though, just like the 9 modules I wasted my time reading hoping there would be something I could take away from it. The one thing that might be useful but not "as is" are the templates. This was very disappointing and time spent I can never get back. The only upside is I did it while I was at work so at least it was work time that was spent and I didn't pay for it - unless it was a hidden fee, which after finishing this course and being exposed to their "strategies" I wouldn't be surprised. *P.S. Sleazy* - I know how to spell it, I was being clever. :)
