Equine Therapy Practitioner
So far it is an interesting course and a lot of useful information but I find the language to be a bit complex for people new to the field. I wish there were more visuals, that would make the reading more interesting.

Completed equine assisted therapy course.
So pleased and although not easy enjoyed the course and ready to proceed with confidence. I could relate to all modules and aware to all answers but found actual writing my answers down the difficulty. I was slight disappointed with media messages noted regarding the course after I had started that had negative views . However I am pleased to say how incorrect these were. Our business “Therapony” will be based on child and adolescent mental health a step forward from what the difference horses have made to friends and family over many years and the healing powers they possess.

This content is so helpful. I am learning not only the skills I need to practice, but also receiving insight through the case studies. The only thing I would change is that some of the language in the quizzes is convoluted and overly jargoned. Simpler verbiage would help my understanding.

would like more physical exercises
so through out the modules there are moments of exercises. but they are not interactive. it would be nice to interact with them and actually do the exercises.

Trauma-informed, ethical, and deeply aligned with the horse–human relationship
This course offered a thoughtful, trauma-informed approach to equine therapy that truly honors the horse as a sentient partner rather than a tool. The material is well-structured, grounded in nervous system awareness, consent, pacing, and relational integrity, and it consistently emphasizes ethical facilitation and emotional safety for both client and horse. I especially appreciated the focus on experiential learning, non-interpretive reflection, and co-regulation, which aligns beautifully with holistic and somatic practices. The content feels relevant, respectful, and applicable in real therapeutic settings. I highly recommend this course to practitioners seeking depth, clarity, and a compassionate framework for equine-facilitated work
