User friendly modules and important information for working with neurodiverse clients

Pleasantly surprised at thoroughness of course

This was my first certification through Efficient Coach and I was pleasantly surprised at how detailed and thorough the course was. I obtained more knowledge than I expected for the price and I'm excited to incorporate my new learnings into my coaching practice.

As a person who is Neurodivergent I was unsure of how I would do in this program. The breakdown and detail in the information combined with the audio option make this opportunity available for me to understand and work through without overwhelm or dysregulation.

Good but intense

the first two modules were extremely intense. It was hard to get through those two modules to get to the more "practical" modules.

I am enjoying the content, the flexibility of the self-paced, information is presented in an easy-to-read format.

I am happy with the course and feel that it was a reasonable investment. I have learned many strategies that I will be able to bring into my personal and professional lives and, of course, into coaching should I pursue that in the future.

What a great boost!

As a medical scientist and now teacher (of students with intellectual disabilities), I am finding this course very insightful and stimulating. The pitch is well set, allowing me to learn, while reinforcing content I have already covered.

this course is absolutely wonderful. It teaches you all about how to interact with your clients.

Not for NDs

While I appreciate the accuracy and comprehensiveness of the content in the modules thus far, I would’ve appreciated a more interactive format. I also see a disconnect in the exercises as they seem to be designed for the neurotypical mind while discussing the exact issue with for the neurodiverse mind. For example, module 2 talks about autistic individuals needing clear and specific language in one paragraph but then the following exercise will have vague instructions. The visuals are AI generated as opposed to being more useful like flow charts and diagrams of the info which is easier to adopt. There aren’t any personal tools that can be use for the info such as highlighting the texts. The questions on the quizzes also seem to rely on rote memorization answers vs understanding of the concepts being taught.

Comprehensive course

a comprehensive course covering the bases of everything you need to consider when coaching neurodivergent clients. The use cases were particularly helpful. Just a shame the voices were AI which meant occasionally a word was mispronounced or the stress was a little out; however the available transcript meant there was never any lasting confusion. All in all, a great course and good value for money.
