Healing with Art

I was so excited to engage in this course as I love every aspect of art. I paint, journal, draw, zentangle, color, use photography. I use my creative intuition in my product packaging by choosing color schemes, graphics, product names and descriptions. I engage in some form of art everyday. I love everything about this course and the information on how art heals. I am really looking forward to incorporating art therapy in my holistic endeaors.

I really liked the layout and presentation of this course. It was easy to follow and the course website was very reliable throughout, no glitch at all. I have gained knowledge and a greater understanding of ADHD and how to coach individuals with ADHD. In my opinion, the course content was comprehensive and well-presented. I found the modules easy to follow. In terms of content, I don’t entirely agree with some of the statements; I think praise is certainly better than punishment, but in my opinion, too much praise destroys children’s intrinsic motivation. A smile or a loving glance has a longer-lasting effect than stickers or verbal praise. Overall, I am very grateful for the course and will implement many of the concepts in my practice with my clients.
