i have really enjoyed the course I have been in private practice for over 30 years. I have found some wonderful knowledge and some great refresher. For new people taking this course I would like to see more focus on actual therapeutic modalities. More specific knowledge about the techniques and actual examples of how to utilize those techniques. I like the broad information from helping clients to self care and ongoing professional development which is paramount to running a great practice that is client centered.

I would like to see more interaction with patient and caregiver. I would like to experience some intentional emotion and deliberateness during the monologues. The tone of the speaker is unusually lulling and not inviting to keep one involved and focused. I find myself forcing to stay single mindedly involved, while it is difficult to do so.

This course is well written, easy to use. I am thrilled with the depth each module delves. It builds on my personal experience as well as my career. I really appreciate the references made to consult your health provider when necessary. I am not a nurse or in the medical field. I have common sense, but certainly not in the position to make med suggestions or changes etc. I recommend to anyone who has genuine empathy and kindness. If you want to engage with, protect and advocate for someone you care for, or want to be informed to assist others, this is a wonderful tool to learn!
