Love this program
I love this course and how accessible it has been thus far. As a certified herbalist, I am always looking to add on to my education in an accessible way - this is just that.

Herbalism
I love the course thus far, how ever I've had a few set backs with two falls and a full hip replacement.

Interesting
I'm learning and actually relearning some things I had forgotten that my mother taught me and did herself as a child because she was raised on a farm and if you didn't raise it you didn't need so the grafting is something I honestly had forgotten and I'm 69 so I know it's been around a long time and it works and I'm pleased to have brought it back to my mind so that now I too can garden with the best of them

Monotonous
Lots of reading, not interactive and so far no handouts or tools to use. Some good information as far as structuring time and using all senses, but as a certified and trained herbalist, found that the information on edible and medicinal plants and trees was a lot and somewhat dangerous for an untrained person. Lack of information on a tea ceremony, like what do you actually need for that? How do you keep the water warm, or do you do a cold infusion?

Academic review of Modules so far
I find it quite interesting in view of today's societal problems in respect to the environment, where Forest Bathing or S.T. opens a new window to learn about how humans, and all humanity is affected by nature. S.T. involves hands on experience (once you become a therapist) where the therapist besides being an instrument to relay important information and beneficial time to all who want to expand their physiological-physical and psychological health and knowledge in this interrelated world. Having said this, it also is a valuable tool to expand people's knowledge in how the environmental problem is impacting societies, countries, and everyone. Many trends in though that involve only capital gain above all, ignore how the health of ecosystems and biomes throughout the continents are essential to planetary well-being, and this is how many people involved with Sylvotherapy will open their minds for the search of solutions for a better world.

Experience
My experience with the course has been positive overall. The material is interesting. I appreciate how the concepts are explained. Some sections require careful reading but content is engaging. I am enjoying the learning experience. My only challenge is I wish it wasn’t pdf format.
