Alosha Lynov is a Bio-Architect who combines the principles of Earthships, the vision of Antoni Gaudí, and the elegance of Sacred Geometry to create autonomous Living BioShelter Organisms—self-heating, self-cooling, and self-sustaining structures. He founded Bio-Veda Academy of Bio-Architecture for the purpose of educating and empowering people to design and build their own eco-homes. To date, the academy has provided hands-on video courses in ecological construction and water self-sufficiency to more than 3,500 students worldwide. With over 25 years of experience, Alosha has dedicated his career to integrating biomimicry, permaculture, and sustainable technologies into architecture. His unique approach emphasizes biomimetic forms and systems that are structurally stronger, more cost-effective, and more harmonious with natural landscapes than conventional building methods. Alosha’s path began in the late 1990s, initially working with spandex sculptures for event design. In 2007, he trained in Mexico at a flying concrete workshop, where he mastered the creation of Gaudí-inspired ferrocement shells. He later applied this knowledge to his own land, building a 700 sq. ft. seashell-inspired structure and developing a fully self-sufficient ecosystem. His work has taken him across five continents, where he has studied with global experts and taught workshops in BioTecture, permaculture, and water self-sufficiency. Today, his focus remains on developing and teaching innovative building techniques that enable individuals and communities to live sustainably and resiliently.

Practical and Informative
I'm enjoying this certification so far. Learning a lot and appreciate that you get both written lectures and audio. I will say that although the audio doesn't conflict with the written information, it does seem to contain more information. I suggest you use both to get a full experience.

Good, could improve
I have noticed some discrepancies in the first couple chapters, mainly the one that bothered me so deeply was the scientific method isn’t clean in determining what conclusions can be drawn from the psychology of color theory studies. Another thing that would really kick it up a notch is having a separate list of printable pdf charts for all the individual lists (properties of trees, edible plants, indoor sot spot plants, etc.) would be an incredibly helpful study tool since memorizing those individually in unlikely and having the printed reference guide would be helpful ongoingly, even after certification has been granted. It wouldn’t be that difficult to design printable posters for your students and it would cost you a lot of money whereas is would be a great service and boon for us, definitely earning that last star.

Sylvotherapy, Honoring Tomahide Akiyama
This course does give good credit to the 43 years of research put into Shinrinyuko as established by Tomahide Akiyama in his efforts to reconnect his people with nature through the scientific principles by which nature supports us and through the spiritual aspects that connect us through said scientific principles. It would be an even better experience if the certification implied some kind of connection to the origins of the practice and linked us all together in some sort of network where we could share resources as Sylvotherapists and learn from one another as we work to reunite our respective cities with our nearest healthiest forests.

Far Exceeds Expectations
I'm currently on module 3 and am impressed with the knowledge, expertise, and this course offers. I love the explanation of how indigenous people used permaculture and appreciate the quality of the narration as well as the pdf format to print. I also like the quizzes as it helps me determine what I have learned and what I need to go back and study more. I'm brand new to permaculture and am excited to use these tips to use on our land. I feel like anyone who lives on earth would benefit from this course and that if everyone practiced these principles, or at least understood them, then our land could heal, and we could reverse some of the damage we have done.
