it was informative but delivery style must be improved
the contents are holistic and relevant, however the delivery style for each module is very dry and monotonous. there are some information that are not up to date and the questions and answers in the last sectio for certification can be better designed.
This course was good - my only criticism is that it could have included more of a focus on activities to run in group sessions - there was lost of theory but it was a little lite on practicality in my opinion.
Technically+structurally a bit unclear. A map at the end about the structure of the webpage+curriculum+options would be nice.
For example: there is a chance to rewrite my answers or there is a choice to learn with quizzes after each chapter etc
The overall course was quite good including different resources such as quantitative and qualitative assessments. Structure and frameworks were easy to follow and useful.
Areas to improve: pharmaceutical provisions within therapy role need to be updated, diversity in case studies (many felt reputative from my perspective experiences in therapy), proper citation and research guide for all mentions throughout course are lacking. I had requested the citation guide and research mentioned in the course early in my studies in going through the course and still have not received this 2 months later. This would provide key areas for learners to gain depth and further knowledge on the course materials which is prudent in virtual course delivery methods.
I've enjoyed what I have learnt through this course. I like how the modules are laid out in bite-size chunks so I can absorb small amounts of information at a time, while it also feeds my desire to know more. The course builds upon itself nicely too. I like how I can either listen to the lessons beings read or read them myself, giving me flexibility and variation in how I learn.
I do sometimes wish some points were elaborated on more, but I am only halfway through the course at the moment, and I have noticed some things that I wanted to know more about have been discussed more in depth later in the course.
Lots of reading, not interactive and so far no handouts or tools to use. Some good information as far as structuring time and using all senses, but as a certified and trained herbalist, found that the information on edible and medicinal plants and trees was a lot and somewhat dangerous for an untrained person. Lack of information on a tea ceremony, like what do you actually need for that? How do you keep the water warm, or do you do a cold infusion?
I am an auditory learner and the speaker was extremely monotonous. You have a lot of great information to share but the presentation was incredibly boring.
It's ok, it gives some knowledge, but I wouldn't say that this is enough to become a nutrition coach. More is needed since it just scrapes the surface.
Also, like all nutrition sources, this is highly biased. Every Harvard guru out there will have a different opinion (e.g. on vegan vs meat dense diet or lots other stuff), and this course certainly leans on specific recommendations that are disputable.
