A good course
The modules guided you through well giving lots of examples. The end exam however was not particularly challenging

Too many questions per module
I thought this was a good course, but I think, particularly in the early stages certain terminology should be explained clearly. Same with example questions, they ask things you might not have much knowledge (or any) on yet. The example answers are helpful, but the course could use more time explaining things instead of just in bullet points most of the time. The case studies were very helpful and insights about studies done. I didn't like the robotic AI recording so I opted to not use it at all. Videos of this would be good too with an actual teacher. I kept feeling that a lot of this course was generated not fully by a human as it felt rushed, with a lot of repetition in some modules.
It says I can retake the final exam. I got distracted although I did pass the test. I clicked where it said click but I was unable to correct anything.
I did not like doing the written quizzes throughout the course, I would have preferred multiple choices questions instead.
I understand that this is basically an introductory course, and so there are going to be various methods and techniques that it doesn't cover in depth. But I do wish it went into more specific techniques. Also, when I started the course, it was marked as 8 modules. But when I got to #8, there were suddenly 10. Module 8 didn't match what I had initially downloaded. On the final test, the vast majority of the questions were not covered in the modules that it said they were from. I passed, but it didn't give the answers, so I'm not sure if I missed any, or which ones.
While informative, there were a number of concerning errors or misleading statements which I felt took away from the authenticity of the training. Overstating and overselling are not necessary when there are so many legitimate studies and proven benefits to discuss.
I've been practicing equine therapy for a few years now, and took this course for the certificate. Some of the content is very relevant and helpful for session design and client interactions. The way the course described designing session arcs to slowly build difficulty was helpful. The module on eco-spiritual practices was a bit too much for me, and the spiritual discussions in the course are almost exclusively centered around nature spirituality. The course excludes any kind of ridden work, and does not contain any practical activities. It is all principle-based and big picture.
I was expecting visual lessons more then theory coz breathwork is all about physical lesson. Module 2 dosent match with the audio, please check the coordination
I expected it to be deeper into every detail. This was more a "scratch on the surface" and an easy to grasp introduction. And with that mind set it worked well.
I really enjoyed the deep concepts in this course, which is why I'm happy to give it a high five (not five stars though)! The underlying neuroscience is fascinating and highly inspiring. If I could suggest one area for improvement, it would be the structural layout of the early modules. For a systems thinker, the initial introduction can feel overwhelming without immediate practical scaffolding, which actually caused me to pause my studies for a few months. It would be incredibly helpful for future students if the material included more practical, step-by-step tools showing exactly how to apply this knowledge when teaching or working with future coaching clients. Overall, it's a a good starting point, and with a bit more practical structure, it could be great.
A tad to technical v. practical application for me.
Please incorporate videos to your courses. For quizzes, please make it multiple choice or case studies rather than purely narrative and theoretical.
I believe there needs to be more interactive activities for learning. Otherwise it is really just a book to read and a few quiz questions.
As an introduction to skills and potential, it's not bad. The course was in text only, no images, videos or case examples. There was quite a lot of repetition. The risks and dangers of art therapy were not covered effectively, such as clients who abreact, clients who 'can't draw'. There was quite a lot of 'toxic positivity' enumerating the advantages of art therapy, a powerful but complex and challenging profession but with significant risks and dangers. Anyone completing this course and imagining they can provide art therapy would be severely deluded. The track record of discriminant personality change is not good: terms like 'improve your personality' 'my best qualities' are in danger of skating over the darker qualities in all of us.
