This course talks a lot about evidence-based treatments for trauma healing, but doesn't actually teach them. It's like learning what a pancake is and how to serve and eat a pancake, but it doesn't give you the recipe for the pancake. There's a lot of what not to do, but not much of what TO do. A lot of the info is also pretty common sense. If someone is already seeing a good therapist for trauma, I'm not sure they would need to come see me just to tell them how to breathe and ground themselves. Pretty disappointing to walk away from this course without any real tools.

I have over 25 years in public and women's health and wanted to dive deeper into Menopause as way to better serve and help women in mid-life take charge of their health. This certification was comprehensive and very thoroughly created. I would highly recommend the Menopause Certification to anyone who has a desire to make an impact within the women's health space!
If you are a psychotherapist and you have taken sex psychology as part of your undergrad, this course is not for you. It is far to elementary. Might be good for people without formal training.

Some of the modules were too long. More modules but shorter listening time would be better.
it was very informative and convenient with being able to do it self-paced. it touches base on all necessary areas regarding the topic. i would suggest adding slides or videos to the modules.
This was my first on-line course. I'm proud to have completed successfully. The course was outlined well and had a good cadence. The client practitioner exercises were most helpful. My reason for taking this course was driven by the fact that I was asked by our church leadership to start a Bereavement Ministry. Today, I feel better prepared in regard to grief, mourning and bereavement. Thank you. I look forward to my next steps.
