As a biblical counselor for four years without a formal training other than a manual used to help counselors. This course offered a deeper understanding with a surface knowledge to secular counseling which was good to know to better understand what’s offered outside the faith based module.

I am learning about different types of counseling; scriptures; transformation; different aspects of secular and christian counseling. Emotional & Spiritual health management as well as personal growth. Self-care; self assessment; reflection; personal development plan and so much more! This course is covering topics I would not have imagined to be so important in counseling. The quizzes are very helpful is recalling all the info in each module. I know I will be better educated on the subject of christian counseling once I complete this course.
