Module 1: THE HISTORY OF REIKI
This module discusses the origin of the Reiki Usui healing method. You will discover its history and all those who have played an important role in the development of the practice of Reiki.
This module covers the following:
- The definition and origin of the word Reiki;
- The history of Reiki and its creator Sensei Mikao Usui;
- Visualization and introspection exercises;
- The personalities who have contributed to the spread of the Reiki Usui healing method in the world;
- The practice of Reiki today.
Module 2: THE WORLD OF REIKI
In this module, you will learn how to interact with the universal energy. You will gain a better understanding of what clients experience when they receive a treatment, and you will experience a Reiki treatment yourself.
In this section, you will discover:
- The benefits, but also the side effects, that you can experience during and after a Reiki treatment;
- The different levels of the Reiki Usui method;
- A detailed description of a Reiki treatment session;
- Studies that support this method of healing;
- The sacred initiations, and what the students will experience during this experience.
Module 3: LEVEL I REIKI TECHNIQUES
This third module marks the beginning of your learning of the Reiki Usui healing method. You will discover techniques entirely dedicated to personal practice (energy healing technique on oneself).
This section will cover:
- The five principles of Reiki and their application in your life;
- Hand positions during a treatment;
- The aura, the meridians, the chakras, the energy centers, and their link with Reiki;
- The art of anchoring, purifying, and protecting your aura;
- A technique to channel energy.
Module 4: LIVING THE REIKI
In the previous section, you discovered the basic positions of the Reiki Usui method. In this new section, you will learn how to integrate complementary techniques, developed during the last years.
This module will address:
- Back treatment;
- Treatment of animals;
- Food purification;
- The treatment of nature and non-living elements;
- Treatment of children;
- Chronic diseases.
Module 5: LEVEL II REIKI TECHNIQUES
You are now able to offer Reiki treatment to others. The second level will also introduce you to the first three symbols of the Reiki Usui healing method.
This module will cover:
- Symbols of power, harmony, and distance;
- The mantras associated with these symbols;
- The use of the three symbols in a Reiki treatment on oneself and others;
- Reiki treatments at a distance;
- An advanced technique of anchoring, purification, and protection.
Module 6: ADVANCED TECHNIQUES
This module will introduce you to various techniques that are not necessarily associated with the Reiki Usui healing method, but which you can add to your practice.

Module 8: LEVEL III REIKI TECHNIQUES
The third level is dedicated to the mastery of Reiki. In this section, you will discover the techniques related to the fourth symbol, you will also prepare for your activity as a Reiki practitioner.
In this module, you will discover:
- The symbol of the Master and its mantra;
- The techniques related to the symbol of the Master;
- The use of the Master symbol during the anchoring, purification, and protection of the aura;
- The Reiki waterfall, a simple technique to purify the body;
- Different visualizations and reflection exercises.

This new module will allow you to develop your connection to the universal energy. You will discover different energetic and spiritual approaches that you can add to your Reiki practice.

- The Hui Yin technique that raises your energy frequency;
- The purification of crystals through the symbol of the Master;
- The use of numerology to access more information during a Reiki treatment;

How long does it take to complete a course?

For most students, completing the entire course takes around 40 hours.

Do I need to attend anything live, or can I study whenever it suits me?
The entire course takes place online and is fully self-paced, so you can study whenever it suits you best. There are no trips, workshops, or live classes required. You’ll get access to course modules as downloadable PDFs, audio files, and in some cases, videos. You study independently in your own time, and if you have any questions, you’re always welcome to ask them in the forum.
How am I assessed during the course?
You’ll find short quizzes at the end of each module to help you reflect on what you’ve learned, they’re NOT graded and are just for your own understanding. At the end of the course, there’s a final multiple-choice exam that is graded. You’ll need to score at least 80% to pass. Don’t worry, if you do not achieve 80% your first time, you can retake the exam at any time.
Are there any prerequisites?
There are no prerequisites or minimum educational requirements. All our courses are carefully designed to be accessible to as many people as possible. You can study from a computer, tablet, or smartphone. If your internet connection is unstable, we recommend downloading the PDF modules and audio files so you can access them offline whenever it suits you. Do I receive a certificate at the end of the course?
