Module 1: INTRODUCTION TO KINESIOLOGY

In this first module you will:
- discover what kinesiology is, where it comes from and to whom it applies and what kind of problems it addresses;
- learn how it helps people to restore their balance;
- understand the significance of the muscular test and the work of John Thie’s Touch for Health;
- examine in detail all the precautions to take for yourself and for others;
- find out how a session works.
Module 2: PRE-TESTS AND THE BASICS OF ENERGETIC KINESIOLOGY

In this second module you will:
- study the principles of Chinese medicine (qi, yin, yang, meridians etc.);
- review basic anatomical concepts (the skeleton, the spine, etc.);
- focus on your posture, your posture, your grounding and your strength;
- learn about pre-testing and preliminary exercises;
- study the five pre-tests (hydration, muscle sedation, energetic field, overloading and midline crossing).
Module 3: TOUCH FOR HEALTH, THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE MERIDIANS AND THE MUSCLES

- gain an understanding of what the health pyramid is and about a basic Touch for Health session;
- discover three additional techniques (zip-ups, switching and recalibrating auricular energy);
- learn about the emotional stress release technique (ESR);
- incorporate the relationship between meridians and primary and secondary muscles;
- begin a detailed study of meridians and related muscles (they will be introduced in groups of two for each module). Each time you’ll discover the path, the connection to physiology, the analogies, the adjustment points, food or keywords;
- study the conception vessel and governor vessel meridians in detail.
Module 4: RECALIBRATION TECHNIQUES

- understand what needs to be done during a session while considering protocol and discussion;
- discover the adjustment points: spinal reflex techniques, neurovascular points, neurolymphatic points, meridian tracing techniques, acupressure techniques and recalibrating meridians;
- study the stomach and spleen meridians in detail.
Module 5: CIRCUIT MAPPING, ALARM POINTS, EXCESS MERIDIANS

- discover the alarm points for each meridian as well as the concepts of empty and excess meridians;
- be introduced to time and energy laws, the wheel of 14 meridians/muscles and the five-element cycle;

Wonderful Course, but...
This was so interesting and loved every bit of it. There are a couple of things I would recommend if you are considering taking the course. Along with the course, purchase the Touch for Health Complete Edition and Reference Folio. These will be extremely beneficial. Also, this course was translated from French (did some digging) and the acupressure points will seem a little off from the reference books. They did not translate the acupressure points meridian labels correctly. The numbers are good, but the letters are short for the french-style meridians. Example Lung Meridian point (LU9) will show up in the modules as 9P (Poumon = lung in French). Hope this helps.

Do I need to attend anything live, or can I study whenever it suits me?

How am I assessed during the course?

At the end of the course, there’s a final multiple-choice exam that is graded. You’ll need to score at least 80% to pass. Don’t worry, if you do not achieve 80% your first time, you can retake the exam at any time.
