Module 1: INTRODUCTION TO KINESIOLOGY
In this first module you will:
- discover what kinesiology is, where it comes from and to whom it applies and what kind of problems it addresses;
- learn how it helps people to restore their balance;
- understand the significance of the muscular test and the work of John Thie’s Touch for Health;
- examine in detail all the precautions to take for yourself and for others;
- find out how a session works.
Module 2: PRE-TESTS AND THE BASICS OF ENERGETIC KINESIOLOGY
In this second module you will:
- study the principles of Chinese medicine (qi, yin, yang, meridians etc.);
- review basic anatomical concepts (the skeleton, the spine, etc.);
- focus on your posture, your posture, your grounding and your strength;
- learn about pre-testing and preliminary exercises;
- study the five pre-tests (hydration, muscle sedation, energetic field, overloading and midline crossing).
Module 3: TOUCH FOR HEALTH, THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE MERIDIANS AND THE MUSCLES
In this third module you will:
- gain an understanding of what the health pyramid is and about a basic Touch for Health session;
- discover three additional techniques (zip-ups, switching and recalibrating auricular energy);
- learn about the emotional stress release technique (ESR);
- incorporate the relationship between meridians and primary and secondary muscles;
- begin a detailed study of meridians and related muscles (they will be introduced in groups of two for each module). Each time you’ll discover the path, the connection to physiology, the analogies, the adjustment points, food or keywords;
- study the conception vessel and governor vessel meridians in detail.
Module 4: RECALIBRATION TECHNIQUES
In this fourth module you will:
- understand what needs to be done during a session while considering protocol and discussion;
- discover the adjustment points: spinal reflex techniques, neurovascular points, neurolymphatic points, meridian tracing techniques, acupressure techniques and recalibrating meridians;
- study the stomach and spleen meridians in detail.
Module 5: CIRCUIT MAPPING, ALARM POINTS, EXCESS MERIDIANS
In this fifth module you will:
- learn how to use circuit mapping;
- discover the alarm points for each meridian as well as the concepts of empty and excess meridians;
- be introduced to time and energy laws, the wheel of 14 meridians/muscles and the five-element cycle;
- understand the steps involved in a complete session;
- study the heart and small intestine meridians in detail.
Module 6: ACUPRESSURE POINTS
In this sixth module you will:
- study the acupressure points and how they are defined;
- what to do to tonify and sedate meridians;
- analyze the bladder and kidney meridians in detail.
Module 7: KINESTHETIC EDUCATION AND BRAIN GYM®
In this seventh module you will:
- connect kinesiology to learning methods in the study of kinesthetic education;
- discover which exercises to use for learning and for releasing certain kinds of stress including PACE (Positive, Active, Clear and Energetic) techniques;
- study the heart master and triple heater meridians in detail.
Module 8: BRAIN FUNCTIONING, EMOTIONS, PAIN
In this eighth module you will:
- establish the links between brain functioning, stress and emotions through an introduction to One Brain;
- discover additional techniques to separate stress from emotions;
- study the gallbladder and liver meridians in detail.
Module 9: THE WHEEL OF EMOTIONS, THE LUNG MERIDIAN, AND THE LARGE INTESTINE MERIDIAN
In this ninth module you will:
- learn to connect the meridians to each emotion;
- study the lung and large intestine meridians in detail;
- review everything you have learned during training;
- be provided with links and bibliographic references in order to expand your learning;
- assess your knowledge through a final exam in the form of multiple-choice questions.

The learning could have been enhanced by video demostrations of the muscle testing, especially if that is how you learn. Also, two test questions were incorrect but should have been correct. The triple heater is known as the triple warmer and the liver meridian is associated with the adductors (not the heart master),

How long does it take to complete a course?
That really depends on how many pages you go through per day or week, and of course, on your previous experience. The course is completely online and self-paced, so there are no deadlines. Once you’ve purchased the course, you’ll have lifetime access to all the material. It’s made up of several modules, some are lighter, while others a bit heavier. For most students, completing the entire course takes around 40 hours.

Do I need to attend anything live, or can I study whenever it suits me?
The entire course takes place online and is fully self-paced, so you can study whenever it suits you best. There are no trips, workshops, or live classes required. You’ll get access to course modules as downloadable PDFs, audio files, and in some cases, videos. You study independently in your own time, and if you have any questions, you’re always welcome to ask them in the forum.
How am I assessed during the course?
You’ll find short quizzes at the end of each module to help you reflect on what you’ve learned, they’re NOT graded and are just for your own understanding. At the end of the course, there’s a final multiple-choice exam that is graded. You’ll need to score at least 80% to pass. Don’t worry, if you do not achieve 80% your first time, you can retake the exam at any time.
Are there any prerequisites?
There are no prerequisites or minimum educational requirements. All our courses are carefully designed to be accessible to as many people as possible. You can study from a computer, tablet, or smartphone. If your internet connection is unstable, we recommend downloading the PDF modules and audio files so you can access them offline whenever it suits you. Just keep in mind that you’ll need an internet connection to complete the quizzes and take the final exam.
Do I receive a certificate at the end of the course?
You will receive a printed certificate if you selected that option during registration. Otherwise, you can order it later at any time from your student portal under the "Certificates" section – OR download it for free as a PDF.
