Despite working directly with a neurodiverse population for more than 12 years, I’ve learned so much during this course. I now feel much more equipped to address the needs of those who fall under the neurodiversity umbrella. The strategies, assessments, and other tools provided during this course were helpful and enlightening, I cannot recommend this course enough; No matter whether you provide services to, routinely work with, or live with someone who identified as neurodiverse, you WILL gain insight.
This meant alot to me seeing that I myself had losses through my lifetime, I lost both my parents, I lost two brothers, I lost two friends to death, I was divorced, I was close to death because of a sickness, I asked GOD to let me die, I was only 12 years when I lost my youngest brother with whom I had a very close relationship. Only I had no counseling in any of my losses at all.
So I can identify myself with the lectures. It helps me in the sense that I can identify and confirm the context of the teachings and it surely is equipping me for future grief counseling.
