I took this course out of my love for nature, and it has helped me see the natural world and plants with completely new eyes. I already knew that we are all connected, but this course made me feel that connection on a deeper level. It opened my eyes to how every part of nature, from the smallest plant to the largest ecosystem, works together in harmony. It made me aware of all the benefits that so many plants offer, from their healing properties to their essential roles in maintaining life on Earth. The course covers quite well all the basic concepts related to neuroscience, thus helping any interested individual understand the anatomy as well as practical applications of learning the fundamentals behind brain functions.
My experience has been great. I am learning a lot and will apply them to my life and teach my children these skills to learning, retention, memory and whatever else that will come. I Love science I love learning so this is a very interesting topic for me.
The course is very thorough and the content is relevant and well structured to aid short and long-term learning. It is comprehensive with practical exercises in the form of case studies and quizzes to explore and evaluate how well the information is learnt and areas for improvement. I appreciate the different learning format to assist busy students who might favour learning on the go to match their schedule. Also the course progression from one topic area to the next is not haphazard but rather well organized. It is also not overwhelming which could impede absorption of information, which allows for critical analysis of all the information shared. Very thoughtful and timely course.
To this point I am now definitely more informed on the practices of play therapy and any therapeutic approach overall. As this discipline seems to be a very broad field of practice
