Specialization
Alma Oasis was created in 2023, brought to life from the shared vision of two individuals captivated by the beauty and mystery of daily life but also by the climate problems and unmet solutions in our society. Our vision is to inspire the environmentally curious and encourage change in individual behaviors to have a positive impact on the earth, however large or small. ‘Alma’ means the soul, reflecting the essence of our being and ‘Oasis’ signifies a flourishing ecosystem in an otherwise arid world. Though this course covers the material well, I haven't found Facebook a very effective way to advertise. As it was free, it was worth doing, but I wouldn't have paid for it.
The layout of the course was well organized. I enjoyed the audio to read the modules along with. That was super helpful. I can't believe how much I learned in this course. Can't wait to take another class.
This was a great course in how to take so much of the wilderness skills knowledge I'd gleaned over the years and put it together in a way that makes sense as an instructor !

The modules were informative and concise providing detailed information that was easy to understand.
I learned a lot from this course, especially about the scientific background of ocean therapy. Quite a rare course also, and super interesting for people working in alternative medicine, psychology, spirituality, philosophy, holistic field or counselling. Also useful next to grief and loss counselling. When you have affinity with the field but are a bit insecure on its applications and scientific background, this course gives you the guidance that you are not that clouded in judgement to follow your natural instincts into nature and natural and holistic healing.

This certification was the most affirming thing I have literally ever done. I randomly saw this certification pop up on instagram one day and I thought "no freaking way this is real". Each module affirmed this path for me. I cried SEVERAL times during each module because of how much it just felt right and how everything I was learning just aligned so beautifully with the person that I am. That you so much to the creator of this certification. I felt so seen and so cared for in your words and I now feel equipped to do this work that I am so passionate about. Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us all, I am so eternally grateful.
Had some great information, somethings I never considered. I recommend this course when getting your feet wet in wilderness survival.
