I enrolled in the Nutritionist course, so I was quite confused to find that this module did not include any nutrition-related content. I was expecting material that focused on nutrition, so it was surprising that the course covered other topics instead. It would be helpful if the course structure and module descriptions clarified what content is included, so students know what to expect.
Some of the information seemed outdated, irrelevant, unsafe or not relevant to American pets. Some of the questions on the final exam were trick questions and not helpful to the learning process as some of them did not have the correct answer but just a vague reference as to the best answer which is highly subjective to the instructor’s opinion
The AI voice has no emotion in it. It just reads like white bread… no fluctuation in the voice. The stories really long and fraught with repeated irrelevent information. I would rather be informed of the techniques and protocol to assist a family member. These long wined stories that you tell are somewhat irrelevant.
I gave this course one star because much of the content overstates or misrepresents scientific concepts, which was distracting and hard to take seriously. Claims like trees having intelligence or specific colours causing precise emotions are presented as fact, rather than metaphor.
That said, the exercises themselves—slow walking, mindful observation, and engaging the senses—are valid practices that I already find helpful. I also think that if the science were reported accurately and cautiously, it would actually make a much stronger case for sylvotherapy than these overstatements or attempts to make new-age ideas sound legitimate.
I would recommend this course only to those who are willing to approach it critically and separate metaphor from evidence.
Go to ChatGPT and write "give me an outline for a neurodiversity coaching course" and you'll get exactly the outline of this course line by line. Not worth it
I have never taken a course that was so boring, unhelpful, or poorly designed. All you do is read pdfs that are much worse than AI or google responses, full of grammatical errors, extremely poorly written, repetitive, and confusing. Then take a quiz. Really?
I signed on to this class hoping to get concrete neuroscience that would support the work in my classroom. With a foundation in neuroscience, I do not feel the support offered will in fact increase a student's ability to achieve. There are so many ways to use neuroscience to empower students, but none were provided. I would be happy to share how I implemented neuroscience into my third grade program to help students manage stress, discover how they learned best and what they could do to improve retention of information. I used neuroscience to help parents understand why their children would come and say "The teacher didn't teach this." When, in fact, the teacher had taught it. Then I used the information to show them how to support their students learning. When they understood how memory is formed and the role they played in create a lack of motivation to listen in class, they changed how they responded to their children. This is missing from your program. The examples you gave for games, would not support all students. Having taught for 55 years, and having used neuroscience to create engagement in the classroom, I found this program is deficient and would not provide enough practical application. I also do not feel that being a multi-tasker makes one less able to learn, it just requires one understand how to manage it. I would recommend adding strategies that are time tested and proven successful, not just theory. I would be leary of hiring anyone who uses this certificate to support classroom teachers. They will lose their credibility the minute the exercises offered were presented to seasoned teachers. I will use the certificate because as stated in your program, people need scientific proof, but I will not be using your ideas. They will fall flat. I would be happy to help you form a program in which you incorporate neuroscience information that is easily understood by students that helps them understand how brains work and support them as they learn how to maximize their brain power. I happen to know I remember more of what I see and less of what I hear, so books on tape will not support my learning style, but my daughter remembers everything she hears and little of what see sees, so books on tape work for her. Recognizing that we need to work with what our strengths are will remove frustration in learning and support how one asks for support. In a Spanish class, I failed in a class using an auditory type of teaching, so I had to ask for visual support. Had I not known that I was not auditory, I would have felt like a failure. Asking for the support one needs, teaches the teacher what they didn't know. I have so much more to share, if you are interested, please contact me at www.homeworkdoc.com. [email protected]
the final test was so beyond obvious that a monkey could pass! seriously one of the choices in the multiple choice section was to tell the client they are uncoachable!
I didn't look at any of the materials and went straight to the test and got 100% beyond easy. they make it impossible to fail.
confused of how to navigate the system without any tech support
so far its been tricky to navigate this sytem new to me with no support from naturalistico, ive been working in addiction for years so its good to get back to basics sometimes when we are delivering groups or 121 we get caught up in the story and not the solution for someone who its tech savy its tricky but worth it. lets see how it goes this is my first course to date.
