A few studies are mentioned by name, but generally speaking this course does not cite its source material. It is written in a conversational tone at times that seems to be written by a non-native English speaker using a lot of fluff words. I would prefer a course with links to scientific research. Needs to be more in depth.
The content is good so far. It is thorough, and it is well researched, well-organized, and presented in a way that is not difficult to follow. But it is quite dry. It is not very interesting for those of us who have some prior academic background and life experience. I am not suggesting that it should be sexually stimulating, but it feels very cold and clinical. Even the case histories are not very engaging
As I was already leading natural mindfulness walks, when I came across this Sylvotherapy course I thought I'd give it a go, hoping to improve my knowledge and experience.
I've really enjoyed the course, and learnt so much. It covers a lot of information, and is a very in-depth resource. I feel confident I can now provide my clients with a much more beneficial experience, and myself too. I'm already putting a lot of what I've learnt into practice and look forward to continuing to use the techniques and information in future.
Thank you for putting together an easy to use, well organized, and well informed course full of great information. I would have liked to see more examples of creative and recreational experiences and maybe have had some video examples to go along with the written material.
So far it is an interesting course and a lot of useful information but I find the language to be a bit complex for people new to the field. I wish there were more visuals, that would make the reading more interesting.
