Sylvotherapy, Honoring Tomahide Akiyama

This course does give good credit to the 43 years of research put into Shinrinyuko as established by Tomahide Akiyama in his efforts to reconnect his people with nature through the scientific principles by which nature supports us and through the spiritual aspects that connect us through said scientific principles. It would be an even better experience if the certification implied some kind of connection to the origins of the practice and linked us all together in some sort of network where we could share resources as Sylvotherapists and learn from one another as we work to reunite our respective cities with our nearest healthiest forests.

Straight forward and easy to digest

I appreciate the audio as well as visual approach. Reading while listening helps me focus and the subjects keep my interest while stimulating ideas as I move forward with my coaching business.

A Beautiful Gateway into the World of Art Life Coaching

I absolutely loved this course. It opened my eyes to new techniques like painting mandalas and understanding their visual metaphor, which I found both fascinating and therapeutic. I’m especially excited to explore more about colour psychology and how culture shapes our interpretation of colour — it’s sparked a real curiosity in me. Most of all, the course has given me the confidence and inspiration to step into the role of an art life coach. I’m so grateful for this introduction and can’t wait to keep learning and growing.

Well structured with good pacing content. Each chapter blends the anatomy/physiology along with the cognitive aspects, which enables to correlate well on the neuroscience aspects.
