NOT a coaching program
This is geared more toward therapy than coaching. Diagnosis and treatment of addiction, associated medications and hotlines....nothing related to neuro-coaching.

Module 2
Great so far but some of the activities are to do as some of them want you to get some of these herbs.

Longevity Coach
I'm semi-retired and currently working in a Seniors environment. I learned a lot from this course both for myself; as well as for clients I serve. The final exam was comprehensive, but not too difficult for a beginner. I would highly recommend the course for anyone looking into coaching.

Dementia Care for Seniors
I am enjoying being able to learn at my own pace and not feel rushed. It's exciting to learn the types of dementia and understanding dementia from ancient times to the modern era. To now have a better understanding of the early stages of dementia, as well as understanding also when sundowning occurs and the effects it has on a dementia resident. I found it interesting to learn some of the non-pharmacological approaches for dealing with behaviors and how a basic routine or daily activities mean a lot to residents with dementia. It was interesting reviewing over material about early diagnosis and how it enables a timely treatment and also allows modifications in lifestyles in which this is very important because this allows families to plan for future care needs. Alot of this material is not rocket science but it's important to know and understand because we want to keep all dementia care residents safe, keep them comfortable in a routine, have a connection, sense of identity, autonomy, and purpose. We want to make sure that we keep in mind what is important to the resident and having a better understanding or awareness and learn what the resident's preferences are, what are the barriers (communication), if you strive to improve trust, communication, and personalized support that this helps with bridging gaps and leading to inclusive care. There were times when I could relate to with my own family experiences and having to go through some of these situations.
